Re: My ICE Problem... I had this on an alternator, the voltage regulator is usually on the outside near the terminals. A good auto electrician should fix it for you. Over voltage usually blows your bulbs. As the revs increase the lights get brighter and that is one of the symptoms of this situation.
Interestingly: When you jump start a car with a high voltage battery pack you can blow the voltage regulator on the alternator.
