Re: Are drivers slowing up in general? I think average speeds have dropped a little - transient speeds by quite a margin, which kind of shows the futility of trying to go everywhere at light speed. You don't really make that much ground on everyday journeys.
I certainly have been grannying my car about recently just to wring another couple of MPG from it. It seems every time I buy fuel the price has gone up a penny or so per litre. I'm also considering cutting my loyalty to BP Ultimate diesel but the actual difference is so small compared to the overall price. |
