prince the conversion involves, i think, doing the same as upgrading to larger discs. need calipers with handbrake attachment discs and adjustments to the brake bias. not sure about the master cylinder. but i think youll need the one of the type R anyway for the front brakes.

the pads that are on look like they were changed at the last service, so they might be changed at a future date. As they are also the same pads that are used on the 312mm discs. so wasnt looking at changing them. means id just have to bed the discs in. not changing the rears might just upgrade then when they satart to show wear

just need to get carriers for the calipers 1st then look into discs OEM ones will cost me around £150 and thats an online supplier dont know how much that will be from the dealers themselves



just seemed stupid that when the golf got the 180 engine it got the bigger brakes yet the bora
