The big advantage with the Brembos is the way they handle the heat. They are less likely to warp and wear less than other discs. Why use the standard pads? Have a look at Pagid pads which have a supreme bite. I think it is worth paying a little extra. You going to do anything with the rears? What about moving your existing front disks to the rear?
