Re: Traffic calming - doesn't! speed bumps in residential areas/schools I can see the benfit to slow people down - example I would actually like them in a road that feeds my road (family estate) as there are parked cars on both sides on a bendy road with kids playing on both sides and people still go well over 30 when in reality its only really safe to do say 25mph. Yes I know they are a ball acher and not good for suspension but they are needed in certain circumstances.
Waste of paint roundabouts and narrowing of junctions is just ludicrous, helping the traffic flow not hindering it is the idea isnt it? |
