Thats way too much to be paying for insurance.
Fronting, (getting parents to cover the car for you) usually is very dodgy. You will typically not be able to use the car as the main driver or use it for going to work/college.
You will find that an older car will benefit from a lower premium so why not get a 5-10 year old Integra type R or perhaps even an Accord Type R, they are great fun and should be cheaper to insure than the new Civic Type R.
With older cars this improves even more. If you get a classic you will find the insurance substantially cheaper. Even larger american cars can be insured for less through specialists.
At 21 the insurance will drop and then at 25 there is a massive drop. Getting the insurance 1 day after your birthday can save ££££'s.
