I didn't mean to ignore your question billyo - I just got a little side tracked.
I would stick to standard fit parts and go with braided hoses, greenstuff or red-dot performace pads and switch to vented and grooved disks.
If you are a serious track day driver its worth spending a little more on bigger disks and upgrading to a more powerful caliper.
