A UK guy was arrested and has been convicted of dangerous and reckless driving reaching speeds of upto 35 mph in a built up area. He is blind

. Police followed him and he negotiated 2 roundabouts but they stopped him when he turned into the wrong lane of traffic. Police discovered he was blind when he got out of the car and were amazed - his fellow passenger who was banned from driving was giving him instructions and desparately needed to get across town.

At the court hearing the Blind guy was banned from driving for 3 years

(yes the courtroom thought that was funny too.) But to cap all of this off due to a legal requirement for this type of conviction the blind chap was orderd to take a mandatory extended driving course before a driving test!!!!!
