Most stalls are electrical probs. Get new leads, plugs dissy etc and get the coil checked. Is the battery giving good amps - most people check the volts and a dodgy battery can make a car lumpy to drive as I recently found out!!! The Air filter needs to be clean and I would check out the whole thing on a Crypton tune machine to diagnose the fault and check the ignition timing - it's one of those wierd things that could be anything from a dodgy sensor to a blocked vacuum hose and can take forever to track down.
